All That Glitters...
Mentioning this collection the other day in a post reminded me that my passion for it is still going strong. I'm not sure another Chanel collection has resonated so strongly since. It is particularily odd because I am not such a huge fan of dresses over jeans (or jeans in general), however these light-washed, bedazzled and made with matching arm warmers are powerfully alluring. The futuristic hair pieces are the icing on the cake. Pictures from Style.com

Great inspiration! Yes, I actually like it! I think that is because it is original, the denim is also covering their arms, and it makes the whole look much, much more interesting and all!

I really like this collection. It's a lot younger looking than most from Chanel. The top right dress is gorgeous.

I too was put off by this collection due to the odd addition of jeans, however if I look at the pieces sans jeans, they are all quite stunning. My favorite here is the black and gold dress on the top right. What a stunning dress.
Yeah, the jeans are a bit distracting. But the dresses are beautiful and the color palette is just so elegant and interesting.

I'm like a magpie. I equate shiny things and bling with good times. I've found that Chanel is becoming more and more lavish and intense with their styling and details. Their pre-fall was just intense!

Never had Chanel in my covettable list but now it is with all these.
