This outfit isn't really inspired by Moonrise Kingdom, but after seeing it (twice!) all I want is saddle shoes and knee socks--even if it is too hot to think of closed toed shoes and a layer on my legs right now. By the way, have you seen the animated short based off the fictional books in the movie?

Ahh, Moonrise Kingdom was amazing! I want to dress in saddle shoes and knee socks as well, but unfortunately that's just not a possibility in 100+ degree temperatures!
