Walking In The Jungle

I first wrote about Kanako Sasaki in 2009 and she's been creating more gorgeous photographs since then. These are from her series Walking in the Jungle, which she describes as using photography to "access the histories, deceased peoples or to ooze out time to the surface." She mixes fiction and history, each picture a piece in a larger story. As when I wrote on her before, I'm affected by her use of space and the narrative quality of her work.
